Updating your email index is simple. You can update it whenever
you want to with the click of a button, or set automatic updates
to happen at regular intervals, so you know that every search will
return the latest messages.
ISYS:email.search understands that different people search in different
ways, so it offers you a choice of search styles to suit your needs:
- Web style - type in your search terms the way you would using an
Internet search engine.
- ISYS style - use powerful search operators such as AND, OR, NOT,
and proximity commands simply by choosing them from a user-friendly,
point-and-click menu.
- Natural language - enter your search as a question or statement in
ordinary English.

ISYS:email.search highlights your search terms in found messages, enabling
you to pinpoint important information in your results. Not only that,
but you can also jump from one hit to the next with a single click. No
more reading through long messages to find what you've already found!
ISYS uses unique algorithms to give each result a meaningful relevancy
score based on the frequency, proximity and surrounds of your search terms
in each message. The customizable results list also shows you the number
of hits in each message, date, time, subject, sender, recipient, folder
and file size.
Once you've performed a search and returned a list of results, there are
many ways that ISYS:email.search lets you work with your results. Export
messages to other files and folders; copy messages and their contents;
print messages or forward them from within ISYS:email.search.

Recent queries are saved and their details displayed. You can re-run
queries with the click of a button, incorporating any new messages
that may have been added to the index.
